Doctor David M. Warren D.C. is a graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is a complete system of healthcare focused on restoring, preserving, and optimizing health with natural hands-on care.

The word "chiropractic" comes from the Greek words cheir (hand) and praxis (action), and simply means "done by hand." The word "chiropractic," is the actual name of the profession.

Where conventional or "allopathic" medicine focuses on curing illness through surgery and pharmaceuticals, the goal of my practice is to optimize health with a non-invasive approach that uses no drugs or surgery but nutrition and the essential building blocks your body needs to heal itself. My primary avenue of care is manipulation of the spine and the framework of the body.

When these joints, or articulations, are not positioned or functioning correctly, it can affect the nerves exiting the spine. This can be caused many different things including trauma, both good and bad stress, nutritional deficiencies, etc.  Chiropractic care attends to irritations along the spine by manually repositioning these joints to function at full capacity. This is a chiropractic "adjustment."

Chiropractors are licensed professionals who are trained to diagnose and appropriately care for or refer patients for the care they require.

Chiropractic patients often visit my office in order to promote health and prevent pain or irritation from starting.  Patients also visit to relieve irritations and get "adjusted." Individuals also seek chiropractic care for back pain, headaches, joint pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, sprains, as well as non-musculoskeletal conditions including allergies, asthma, ear infections, menstrual cramps and digestive disorders. I also specialize in orthopedics, sports injuries and nutrition.
